Abstract:   (15 Views)

One of the issues of concern to commentators and Quran scholars is the apparent inconsistency of some verses of the Quran with each other or with the principles of belief, which has sometimes caused doubts from opponents. Among these verses are the opening verses of Surah Abas, the verse of Tathir, and the verse of Ekmal Din. The opening verses of Surah Abas, based on the famous order of revelation, are considered to be problematic verses in the field of the infallibility of the prophets, and the verse of purification and the verse of Ekmal Din are also considered to be among the most difficult verses in discovering the aspect of proportion with their predecessors and successors, so that some commentators have avoided explaining their proportion or have put forward theories such as the objection of parts of the verse, the ijtihad of the companions in collecting the verses, or even the hypothesis of the verses being moved by the opponents of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.). This is while many of these interpretive challenges can be overcome by reflecting on the context of the verses, analyzing the precise order of revelation, and paying attention to some literary devices such as digression. However, the reflection of these analyses in Persian translations of the Quran is very small. The aim of this research is to critically examine the most important Persian translations of the Quran in light of contextual reflections, order of revelation, and the appropriateness of the verses. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical with a comparative approach between Persian translations and commentaries.
